For clinical mental health care, we partner with Restorer of Broken Walls — a team of licensed, compassionate counselors founded by Amanda Grizzard, LPC, LMFT, serving the Hampton Roads area since 2003.
Their counselors work with children, adolescents, and adults addressing anxiety, depression, parenting, stress management, and relational conflict. Not just behavior modification — life transformation.

Questions you might have
Is there a cost for counseling?+
One City covers the intake and referral coordination. Your counselor's session fees and any insurance billing are handled directly between you and Restorer of Broken Walls. We'll help you understand your options before your first appointment.
Is what I share confidential?+
Yes — deeply. Your intake details are only shared with the care staff and counseling partner needed to serve you. For counseling clients, we offer a 'Pastoral Release' option so your counselor can coordinate with our pastoral team — only if you choose it.
How long until someone contacts me?+
A care coordinator reviews your submission within one business day. For counseling, Restorer of Broken Walls typically reaches out within 2–3 business days to schedule. Urgent requests are prioritized.
Do I have to attend One City?+
Not at all. Our care center serves our community and the Hampton Roads area. Whether you call One City home or have never set foot in a church, you are welcome here.
